Plastiques Moore increases his production capacity

Saint-Damien, Quebec, October 22nd, 2009 - Mario Dorval Production Manager at Plastiques Moore announced today the acquisition of a new injection molding machine and a robot from Arburg. "The addition of these two new equipments will allow us to continue our plan to modernize and increase our production capacity," says Mr. Dorval.

"This new equipment at the cutting edge of technology will be used to meet the growing demand for our services while remaining highly competitive on the North American market" said President of Plastiques Moore Ms Marie-Claude Guillemette.

As we are continually expanding our market share for the molding of components in the medical industry, our goal was to have a press that allowed reducing the handling of the components and reducing the risk of contamination. For this reason, the brand new press Arburg is equipped with a robot to achieve the desired quality standards. The ejection of the plastic components is done horizontally from the back of the press. Thus, the height is less space for optimal access to the equipment.
